Our Muslim students can access the prayer timetables and prayer locations on campus throughout the year.

Prayer timetables at Clerkenwell

Please see below for the latest details regarding prayer times. Prayer timetables will be posted here as they become available throughout the year.

The prayer room opening and closing times are presently from 12pm to 9pm (Monday to Friday).

Jummah Prayer

Announcement From June 5th to Further Notice The Jummah Prayer will be held in the Prayer Room C18 and C149 for sister. The Khutbah will start at 1.30pm and Salaat will be concluded by 1.55pm.

Guidance on Jummah Prayer

Jummah Prayer can be busy. Whilst there are people on hand to help direct and guide you, please following the guidelines below:

  • Plan which Jummah Prayer works best with your timetable, and arrive no more than 5 minutes before the start of your chosen Jummah Prayer
  • Bags and shoes can be left in the designated spaces when you arrive
  • Keep walkways clear to help people access the Great Hall and spaces within the hall
  • Respect others who are praying
  • If you are late, please do not enter the Great Hall and instead wait for the next Jummah Prayer
  • Allow people time and space to leave Jummah Prayer before you enter
  • Jummah Prayer is only open to students and staff.

Shia students are asked to perform their prayer in the prayer rooms. Dedicated male and female Wudhu facilities are available at the back of the Great Hall. Please do not use any other facilities for ablution.
