Student Surveys give you the opportunity to tell us about your experience and us the chance to act on your feedback - we’re all ears.

Merging legacy City and St George's resources

As we bring together resources for Clerkenwell & Moorgate (legacy City) and Tooting (legacy St George’s) students, some content may be specific to one campus and not the other. For the most relevant information, try using specific keywords or exploring content related to your department. If you need help, our support teams are available to guide you.

Clerkenwell & Moorgate students can use Support@City

Tooting students can contact studentlifecentre@sgul.ac.uk.

For All Students

We listen to your feedback

Listening to your views and opinions is vital to how we enhance student life and student satisfaction. With your help, we are working together to ensure that your time here is successful and rewarding.

How you can provide feedback

GetHeard

GetHeard (for Clerkenwell and Moorgate) and GetHeard (for Tooting) is the University's and Students' Union's joint digital platform for student voice that students can use to ask questions to your programme representatives, discuss your experiences with other students and give feedback. If you have never used the platform before, activating your account is easy - all you have to do is log in with your University details and you're set to go.

How GetHeard works

Share your ideas and see how your feedback is shaping real change in real time (2 min watch).

When you access GetHeard, you will be added onto two Boards; one, based on your programme, e.g. "Finance Cluster Year 2" or "PG Psychology", as well as the University Board (for Clerkenwell and Moorgate students) or the Tooting Campus Board (for Tooting students).

Each Board has two sections, a private feedback board (where programme reps respond to feedback and triage comments by moving them to the public board area), and a public feedback board (where staff respond to feedback raised).

Creating change

Visit the "Together we Changed" section of the mobile app or website, where you can see how posts have been responded to, and how your feedback is creating real change, in real time.

You can find more information on the Students' Union website.

Module evaluations

Module evaluation surveys take place towards the end of every taught module in the University and give you an opportunity to reflect on your experience of the module.

When a module evaluation becomes available (usually teaching week 9 of each term), you will receive an e-mail from evaluations@city.ac.uk (Clerkenwell and Moorgate) or from Tootingmoduleevaluation@citystgeorges.ac.uk (Tooting). The evaluation will also appear in your MyMoodle and Canvas pages. You can access all open module evaluation surveys in the Clerkenwell Student Survey Portal and the Tooting Student Survey Portal at any time.

Annual Student Surveys

The annual Student Surveys consist of Your Voice (for penultimate year students), the National Student Survey (NSS) for final year students and the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) for Taught postgraduate students.

Biennial Student Surveys

Postgraduate Research students take the biennial Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES).
