Essential info on how the school and wider university can help and support you during your time with us, whether you need help with anything from accommodation and funding, to individual learning needs and counselling. We'll also explain our student charter, and what we need from you in terms of attending classes, working online and respecting the staff and your peers. This is an opportunity to really understand how we can best support you, and the ethos of the school you are going to be studying at. You don't have to switch your camera on unless you want to, and there is a follow-up session on campus straight afterwards if you'd like to meet us in person. The Centre for Language Studies [HYPERLINK - https://www.citystgeorges.ac.uk/about/schools/communication-creativity/the-centre-for-language-studies#tabs684606-link684618] at City St George's offers a wide range of modern language courses at various levels across the University, including free extracurricular courses. A short presentation about the provision will be held at 12.00 followed by Q&A. This will be repeated at 12.30. You can either join at 12.00 or at 12.30. Come along if you're interested in studying a language outside of your degree for free and have questions about this. Do you need to find a part-time job to help fund your studies? Or maybe you have an idea for a side hustle to launch alongside your studies? Join us in this session to learn about support from City St George's for finding work as a student, working at the university, or getting started with a side hustle or freelancing. In the second hour of the session you can have a free headshot taken for your portfolio/socials by a young, professional photographer.

Come along to find out everything you need to know about living, studying and working in London with must-have tips from our current international students. This is a chance to meet staff and fellow international students from across the world, to ask questions, to find out how to access help and support if you need it and to get essential advice on making the most of your time in London! We will provide lots of advice, have a Q&A session, and there will be some fun, relaxed games to create a chance to chat to each other and make new friends.
