Activity Details
This event is intended to welcome new students and help you become familiar with the school while building early connections with your peers. It will include a mix of activities such as games, sports, video games, and crafts to encourage interaction and engagement. A welcome speech will be delivered by the School Dean to introduce key information about the school. Food and refreshments may also be available, subject to final arrangements.

Low Sensory Welcome & Support Information
Activity Details
For students who prefer a low sensory environment, this session will be an opportunity to make friends and meet staff members with structured activities, small group gaming/crafts and information on support for students who may be neurodiverse or living with mental health issues. While this is a structured session, AG24b will be open from 1pm on Tuesday 29 September to 9pm on Friday 2 October to provide a quiet space for students to access support information, play quiet games/solo craft, or just relax.

LGP Languages Course Info and Q&A session

The Centre for Language Studies [HYPERLINK - https://www.citystgeorges.ac.uk/about/schools/communication-creativity/the-centre-for-language-studies#tabs684606-link684618] at City St George's offers a wide range of modern language courses at various levels across the University, including free extracurricular courses. A short presentation about the provision will be held at 12.00 followed by Q&A. This will be repeated at 12.30. You can either join at 12.00 or at 12.30. Come along if you're interested in studying a language outside of your degree for free and have questions about this. Working While Studying: freelancing & side hustles
Activity Details
Do you need to find a part-time job to help fund your studies? Or maybe you have an idea for a side hustle to launch alongside your studies? Join us in this session to learn about support from City St George's for finding work as a student, working at the university, or getting started with a side hustle or freelancing. In the second hour of the session you can have a free headshot taken for your portfolio/socials by a young, professional photographer.

Come along to find out everything you need to know about living, studying and working in London with must-have tips from our current international students. This is a chance to meet staff and fellow international students from across the world, to ask questions, to find out how to access help and support if you need it and to get essential advice on making the most of your time in London! We will provide lots of advice, have a Q&A session, and there will be some fun, relaxed games to create a chance to chat to each other and make new friends.
