We are City St George's Students’ Union.
For All Students
We exist to represent all 27,000 City St George's, University of London students. We provide support, representation, facilities, services, entertainment and activities for all of our members.
We’re run for students, by students. We have five Full Time Students’ Union Officers and a host of other current students who are annually elected by the student body to direct the Union and represent its students.
The Students’ Union offers the opportunity for students to get involved and make their issues heard.
For Tooting Campus Students
City St George's Students' Union is a democratically run organisation with the student voice at the heart of every decision and independent to the university, here to represent you.

As well as being home to the SU Bar and Shop, music room, dance studios and meeting rooms and with a wide range of events, the SU provides welfare support for all students, and our welfare support team have an open-door policy for any students that need help or advice. We're here to ensure that you make the most of your time as a student at the University and encourage you to take part in the wide range of sports, social and cultural activities and events that we organise. We have over 100 clubs and societies so you can be sure to find something that will interest you. Commercial Services
Pop in to the Students' Union office in Tooting on the Floor 2, Hunter Wing and our friendly office staff and executive team will be able to help with any queries that you may have.
City St George’s Students’ Union (SU) commercial services in Tooting comprise the SU shop and the Dragon Bar, which can be hired for external events. In addition, we have an online store selling university and SU branded clothing and merchandise.
The Dragon Bar
The Dragon Bar is the main social space for students at City St George’s, University of London, and is widely used by students’ union clubs and societies to hold a range of events throughout the year. The Dragon Bar is also open to university staff and staff from City St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Monday to Friday - Sale of soft drinks - 12pm to 1.30pm
Monday to Thursday - Licensed Sales - 5pm to 11pm
Fridays - Licensed Sales - 4pm to 11pm
The bar does a late license and stays open until 2am on event nights.
Come and visit the Dragon Bar and support us, as all profit made goes back into funding the students’ union, and if you’d like to reserve a space please complete this booking form (Word) and send it to Senior Bar Manager Richard Ison or Student Union Office Manager Michelle Campbell. It is available exclusively for private bookings at weekends. The University students and staff and City St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust staff can reserve spaces in the bar for events Monday to Friday, and the Dragon Bar can also be hired for exclusive use on weekends. The SU Shop
The students’ union (SU) shop, recently refurbished during the summer of 2018, is a modern and welcoming retail outlet. The SU shop benefits from being part of a nationwide purchasing consortium, run by the NUS, so all our products are competitively priced and provide excellent value for our customers.

There is also a wide variety of international foods and ingredients, not found anywhere else on site. We are currently the only place in Tooting that sells Krispy Kreme doughnuts, and we offer meal deals on selected sandwiches and wraps. In addition, you can also top up your Oyster card and buy first- and second-class stamps in store. Every penny that you spend in the SU shop helps to support the students’ union, as the profits generated each year go back into the SU charity to help fund the welfare services and activities the SU offers to students.
