As the teaching term is now underway, all entrances into university buildings at Clerkenwell and Moorgate campuses now have access control gates in operation.
This means you will need to carry your University ID card to enter all university entrances across these campuses.
When onsite, please make sure your ID card is visible.
If you’re based at Tooting and need to access Clerkenwell campus, you can request a Clerkenwell card at the Main Reception, University Building. A receptionist will let you through the barriers so you can visit Security. If you only need temporary access, you can swap your Tooting campus card at reception for a temporary pass.

Completed registration and collected your University ID card?
Bring your card with you whenever you’re on campus and keep it visible.
Haven’t collected your card yet?
If your course is delivered on campus, you’ll receive your card at the end of the Registration process.
If you need an in-person ID check, you can collect your card at the same appointment. You’ll receive an email from internationalregistration@citystgeorges.ac.uk with a link to book.
If you don’t need an in-person ID check and have completed registration, collect your card from Northampton Suite, Level 4, University Building, Clerkenwell campus:
- Monday 5 to Thursday 8 October: 10am to 4pm
- Friday 9 October: 10am to 12.30pm
If you need to access Clerkenwell campus before collecting your card, speak to staff at the College, Rhind or University building entrances. You may need to show proof that you’re a City St George’s student, so keep your offer letter on your phone.
Returning students
Check the expiry date on your University ID card. If it has expired or is about to expire and your course hasn’t finished, visit the Student Support Hub, Level 1, Drysdale Building, for a new card.
