There are lots of ways you can get involved with the London Student Sustainability Conference, which will take place in February 2027.

The London Student Sustainability Conference (LSSC) is returning on Wednesday 24 February 2027, giving you the opportunity to share your work, develop new skills and connect with other students passionate about sustainability.

Now in its ninth year, LSSC is a student-led conference coordinated by 11 London-based universities. The conference showcases student research, projects and creative work linked to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (Global Goals).

It will be held at the University of West London Ealing Campus, W5 5RF.

There are four ways you can get involved:

Present

Have you completed research or a project linked to sustainability or the Global Goals? You could present your work at LSSC 2027.

You can share your work through presentations, posters and other creative formats, giving you the chance to showcase your work to an audience of students, academics and sustainability professionals.

Apply to present by Monday 27 November, 11.59pm.

Take on a leadership role

Join the Conference’s Steering Group and play a key role in organising and delivering the Conference.

A leadership role is a great opportunity to develop your leadership, teamwork and project management skills, gain valuable experience and contribute to a major student-led sustainability event.

Volunteer for a day role

Want to be involved on the day? You can volunteer for a one-day role at the conference and gain valuable work and volunteering experience while helping the event run smoothly.

It’s also a chance to meet other students, build your network and play a part in bringing the conference to life.

Day roles will become available in January.

Attend the Conference

You can also attend LSSC 2027 for free.

The programme will showcase student-led research and projects, alongside speakers, workshops and opportunities to connect, collaborate and be inspired by sustainability work taking place across London.

You can attend in person or join online, making it easy to take part wherever you are.

Free attendee registration will open from January 2027.
