Monday 29 January – Friday 2 February is January Welcome Week. It’s a week to learn more about the opportunities and services available to you at City and through the SU, try something new and get to know City a bit better.

There are events taking place all week. We’ve put together a list of everything that’s happening during the week.
The January Welcome Fair will see teams from across City come together on Thursday 1 February, from 11am-3pm in the Pavilion, University Building. You’ll be able to speak to support services and your School’s student experience teams as well as find out how you can get involved with sustainability, volunteering, sports and much more. You’ll also be able to speak to the students aiming to be next year’s SU Officers and sample delicious free food.

There are sessions happening to help you with your digital skills and learning. These take place throughout term time, so keep an eye out for more information.
There are two sessions on how you can use Digital Skills for study on Monday 5 and Wednesday 7 February. You can find out more and sign up for them online.
The Academic Skills team are running sessions on a range of topics, from improving time management to how to improve each stage of essay writing. You can find out more and sign up online.
