    Activity Details:

    Essential info on how the school of Communication & Creativity and wider university works with info on need-to-know processes including the difference between lectures, seminars and workshops, what Moodle is, and how the tech team works. You can ask questions and offer suggestions in the chat. You don't have to switch your camera on unless you want to, and there is a follow-up session on campus straight afterwards if you'd like to meet us in person. The joining details will be sent directly so please check your email during welcome week. PLEASE NOTE: This session will be recorded.

    School of Communication & Creativity Meet and Greet

    Activity Details

    This event is intended to welcome new students and help them become familiar with the school while building early connections with their peers. It will include a mix of activities such as games, sports, video games, and crafts to encourage interaction and engagement. A welcome speech will be delivered by the School Dean to introduce key information about the school. Food and refreshments may also be available, subject to final arrangements.

  4. 4:30pm – 6:00pm

    Low Sensory Welcome and Support Information

    Activity details

    For students who prefer a low sensory environment, this session will be an opportunity to make friends and meet staff members with structured activities, small group gaming/crafts and information on support for students who may be neurodiverse or living with mental health issues. While this is a structured session, AG24b will be open from 1pm on Tuesday 29 September to 9pm on Friday 2 October to provide a quiet space for students to access support information, play quiet games/solo craft, or just relax.
