Activity Details
Representational sports team trials will take place between 28th September - 11th October. Visit the team stalls at Welcome Fair to book onto your chosen team trial or visit Club Sport to book your place.
Please note - Booking onto a trial is essential. No walk ins will be able to trial for teams

Join us between 28th September - 11th October for our GetActive Taster sessions. This is your opportunity to try out all of our GetActive sessions for FREE! Come on your own, or bring a friend from your course and trial the many sports we have on offer this year!
Please note - Booking is essential. We anticipate these sessions to get fully booked, so these will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
All equipment is provided - Just wear comfortable clothing, non marking trainers and remember to bring water if needed

This arts and crafts session, hosted by the communities team, will encourage students to tap into their creative sides as they have the opportunity to create a small trinket to decorate their homes during their time at City St. George's.

Activity Details
The Student Support Showcase brings together college support departments in one accessible space to increase student awareness of the services available to them. Students will have the opportunity to meet staff, learn about the support on offer, ask questions, and access information on wellbeing, financial support, careers, academic skills, safeguarding, disability support, mental health, and other key services. The event aims to improve visibility of support provision, encourage early engagement with services, and help students feel informed, supported, and empowered throughout their learner journey.

This event is intended to welcome new students and help them become familiar with the school while building early connections with their peers. Low-intensity CBT Clinic: Information Event and CBT Taster
Activity Details
Please join us at this video event that will tell you about the cognitive behavioural therapy clinic here at the University. The CBT clinic is open to any student who wants to explore support around stress, low mood, anxiety, confidence, problem solving, sleep issues, panic attacks, or a range of other difficulties. Support provided is free, flexible (offered remotely or f2f), and available immediately. This session will also provide a short taster of CBT so you know what to expect if you choose to access the service.
