TfL's interactive bus map

Many London bus lines pass close to City St George's sites. Sometimes it's hard to know which one is best to choose. Transport for London's interactive map has a "nearby" function which tells you which buses you can catch from your location.

Bus routes serving the Clerkenwell campus include:

• The 4: Archway to Blackfriars (North London to Central London South)
• The 19: Battersea Bridge to Finsbury Park (Southwest Central to North London)
• The 56: Whipps Cross to King Edward Street (Northeast to Saint Paul's in Central)

Bus routes serving the Moorgate campus include:

• The 4: Archway to Blackfriars (North London to Central London South) – 5-minute walk away
• The 56: Whipps Cross to King Edward Street (Northeast to Saint Paul's in Central)
• The 243: Wood Green to Waterloo (North London to Central London South)

Several buses stop directly outside the Tooting campus and even more stop at Tooting Broadway underground station. Download a map of bus routes from the Tooting campus.

Clerkenwell campus
Nearest stations are Angel on the Northern line (Bank branch) and Barbican and Farringdon on the Metropolitan, Circle, Hammersmith & City and Elizabeth lines.

Moorgate campus
Nearest stations are Moorgate on the Hammersmith & City, Circle, Metropolitan and Northern lines (Bank branch).  Liverpool Street, which is on the Central, Elizabeth, London Overground, Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines is a 15-minute walk away.

The Elizabeth line allows quick travel to City St George’s Clerkenwell and Moorgate campuses from several locations across London. The nearest station to the Clerkenwell campus is Farringdon and for Moorgate, take the Moorgate exit at Liverpool St. You can also travel to Farringdon directly from Heathrow Airport on the Elizabeth line.

Tooting campus

Tooting Broadway (Northern Line, Zone 3) is about five minutes walk from the Tooting Campus. The tube journey takes about 22 minutes from London Bridge and 25 minutes from Waterloo.

Tooting mainline station is a 15 minute walk away from the Tooting campus. The line runs from Wimbledon to Luton and Bedford, via King’s Cross.

The Trainline website and app is a great way to find out about train timetables and routes. You can also book tickets directly and store them on the website or app.

You can check National Rail Enquiries' live departure boards for any UK station to see if trains are running on time – you’ll know if you have time for another coffee.

Clerkenwell Campus
Parking in the roads surrounding the Northampton Square site is at parking meters. The nearest National Car Park to Northampton Square is on Skinner Street, off St John Street.

Moorgate Campus (Bayes Business School)
Parking in the roads surrounding Bunhill Row is at parking meters. The nearest National Car Parks to Bayes Business School are at Finsbury Square, Tabernacle Street, Clere Street and Paul Street.

Tooting Campus
There is a limited amount of pay-and-display parking in the area around the Tooting campus. Travel by public transport is recommended where possible.

Gatwick/Luton Airport

The Thameslink train service connects Gatwick and Luton airports directly with Farringdon Station for the Clerkenwell and Moorgate campuses Trains run every 30 minutes and the journey takes about 45 minutes. The Thameslink service also stops at London Bridge where you can change for the Northern Line to Tooting Broadway.

Heathrow Airport

The fastest way to the Clerkenwell and Moorgate campuses is to take the Elizabeth line to Farringdon (for Clerkenwell) or Liverpool St (Moorgate exit). For the Tooting campus, change at Tottenham Court Road and take the Northern line to Tooting Broadway.

Heathrow Airport is on the London underground system, on the Piccadilly Line, and the nearest underground stations for the Clerkenwell and Moorgate campuses are reached by changing at Kings Cross St Pancras. The journey from Heathrow to Kings Cross St Pancras takes one hour.

For the Inns of Court School of Law you can take the Piccadilly line from Heathrow Airport directly to Holborn station.

London City Airport

From London City Airport, take the DLR to Bank and then change for the Northern Line (Northbound) for Clerkenwell and Moorgate campuses or Southbound to Tooting Broadway for the Tooting campus. Express coach services also run to Liverpool Street station.

Stansted Airport

From Stansted Airport, take the Stansted Express to Liverpool Street station. Trains run every 15
minutes and the journey takes about 45 minutes. From Liverpool St you can walk to the Moorgate campus, take the Elizabeth line to Farringdon for Clerkenwell campus or take the Northern line from Moorgate to Tooting.
