If you're a student in the Business School, find out more about when your email address will be changing and what you need to do.

Published Friday, 6th August, 2021 in University news

As part of the Business School Renaming Project, email addresses and network logins for Business School students will be changing from ‘firstname.lastname@cass.city.ac.uk’ to ‘firstname.lastname@bayes.city.ac.uk’.

The change will not impact your existing email inbox and sent folders or your calendar appointments, however, while your email address and network login are updated, there will be a short period where you will not be able to access them, which you can find below.

Once updated any emails sent to your old email address will reach your new email address. No emails will be lost as a result of this change.

Undergraduate students

If you are ‘progressing’ to year 2 or 3 of your course, over the weekend of 13th August, your network login and email addresses was changed.

As of Monday 16th August onwards, your login to City IT services and your email address has become ‘firstname.lastname@bayes.city.ac.uk’ and your old ‘firstname.lastname@cass.city.ac.uk’ will no longer work.

Postgraduate, Resitting and Research students

If you are a Postgraduate, Resitting (UG or PG), or Research student, your network login and email address will be changed over the weekend of 24th September.

From Monday 27th September onwards, your login to City IT services and your email address has become ‘firstname.lastname@bayes.city.ac.uk’ and your old ‘firstname.lastname@cass.city.ac.uk’ will no longer work.

Before your accounts are changed, we will send an instructional email to everyone who will be impacted and we will update this page, so please check this regularly.
