Cheer on the Wolfpack at Varsity 2025

Varsity, the annual sports extravaganza between City St George’s and Kingston University, is taking place on Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 March this year.

The first day will kick off from 10am at CitySport, 124 Goswell Road, with the second day taking place at Kingston University.

With 19 teams competing in 10 sports across two days, there are plenty of opportunities for you to show your support and help City St George’s win the Varsity trophy for the 9th consecutive year! What’s more, this is the first time a team based at Tooting campus, Men’s football, will represent the Wolfpack.

A big part of what makes Varsity so special is the atmosphere created by spectators. Come along to support your friends and watch some excellent sport. There’ll also be the chance to learn more about the University’s social sport sessions GetActive.

Entry to Varsity is free, however you do need to book to cheer on the University for Day 1 at CitySport (remember to bring your student ID with you). Book various sessions through the timetable below.

Day 2 will see the Wolfpack head to Tolworth Court Sports Ground, KT4 7QH for the outdoor sports matches and trophy presentation. Please make your own way to the sports ground. The best way to get to the sports ground is to get a direct train from Waterloo to Tolworth, it’s then a 5-minute walk to the sports ground.

Book a free spot on coaches travelling to the Varsity Afterparty at Dragon Bar, City St George’s Students’ Union, Tooting. These places are available on a first come, first served basis.
