
Your student support services are still here for you over the summer break. Here are all the details you need to know about accessing support.

Support@City
Support@City is open and available throughout the summer and is here to help you with general student life, covering topics such as: accommodation, international student and visa advice, student funding, welfare and any other general enquiry. To submit and track an enquiry, complete the online form and a member of the team will be in touch to help.
Student Support Hub
The Student Support Hub is open from 9am-5pm on weekdays during the summer break.
Student pods in the Student Hub space can now be booked for a maximum of two hours. To reserve a pod, please visit the Student Hub desk.
Student Health and Wellbeing
The Student Health and Wellbeing team are here for you throughout the summer. From practical and emotional support, to exploring wellbeing tips, counselling, or if you have long-term health conditions the team are on hand to help. Here is how you can get in touch:
- Online chat with an engagement advisor - book a time that works for you to talk to someone to understand the support that is on offer and what would best suit your needs
- Register with the Student Health and Wellbeing team - register with the team so that they can share with you the types of support you might find helpful to support you
- Download the CityWellbeing app - Available free for all students, get wellbeing tips, track healthy habits you are working on and chat with your personal wellness coach, 24/7.

Report + Support
If you witness or experience unacceptable behaviour, you can confidentially report it and get the support you need. Report + Support is City St George's platform where you can report with, or without, your personal details, get advice and guidance on taking formal action.
Crisis and Emergency
If you are concerned about your safety or you need urgent medical or psychological help, there are people you can talk to. Here is a list of actions you can take:
- Contact your GP to book an emergency appointment
- Call the Samaritans on 116 123
- If you are currently in student halls you can contact a member of staff for help and support
- Visit your nearest A&E
- If more immediate, urgent care is required you can call an ambulance by dialling 999
